Five Major Techniques

Health Care Health Care (Protect muscle and spine injury)
When we carry a heavy backpack, if our body is still, our shoulders are balanced and the weight pulls down on our shoulders and backbone. However, when our body moves, the weight is constantly pressing on our shoulders and muscles and creating friction on our spine. This causes muscle strain, neck, back and shoulder pain, affecting bone and muscle growth of children and can cause spine injury in adults. The Swing Balance System can reduce the weight for healthier load carrying.
Health Care Equipped with pulley device
The Swing Balance System combines two sets of pulleys assiting in both the pulling and dynamics of the backpack load. One pulley reduces the pulling weight of the backpack, and the second pulley to balances the backpack at the center of gravity.
Health Care Ergonomics (Interactive force)
Physical health is corresponse with our body interaction. When we walk or climb up staircases or moutains, our shoulders swing front and back (picture A), move up and down (picture B), as well as turning of our body (picture C). These are a major part of our natural body movement. This system provides flexibilty that enables us to carry the backpack with ease.
Health Care Preserve Energy
When carring a heavy backpack, the movement of backpack interacts with our physical movement. This causes pressure for our shoulders, muscle and back, which accelerates fatigue, muscle strain and causes the body to consume more energy. With the roller system (picture A, B), when our body moves, the center of gravity of the backpack's weight remains centered, and balances the pressure on our shoulder and back. This allows our body to move easily and helps preserve energy.
Health Care Maintain center of gravity design
Picture 1: It is hard to balance the weight when carrying a regular backpack without Swing Balance System. The backpack constantly swings sideways due to our body movement. It causes friction in our spine.
Picture 2: Backpack with Swing Balance System reduces the movement of the backpack and helps to maintain the center of gravity. This system minimizes the pressure imposed on our upper body.

E-Pack™ has completed a product testing experiment

They invited over 300 people from all walks of life, each carrying 5kg with various brand backpacks for over an hour, to verify the pressure, stress, comfort, agility and flexiblity of the backpacks. Results showed that the ePack was 65% more desirable in all of these aspects when compared to other brand name backpacks.
